Find out why this is one of Bora Bora’s most popular public beaches when you explore its exquisite white sands, gorgeous lagoon waters and waterfront precinct.
Enjoy an outing to Arc En Ciel Bora-Bora during your stay in Anau. Stroll along the beautiful beaches in this romantic area or seek out the snorkelling spots.
Turquoise lagoons embrace overwater bungalows, inviting you to snorkel vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish. Hike up Mt. Otemanu for panoramic views, then unwind on Matira Beach's powdery sands as the sun dips below the horizon.
From our water bungalow we could see the fish in the water. From the patio in the front and also out the windows in the back. It was amazing! We came in January, which apparently is the quiet season and rainy season but don't let that deter you!!

We rented a scooter one day and made the loop around the island which was fun and only took roughly an hour with a few stops
"We booked the master lagoon view villa and it was truly one of the most amazing lodging experiences we’ve had. The space is magnificently designed with custom woodwork and a true collector’s menagerie of treasures. The outdoor shower is something from dreams. From the initial greeting from Nir, the owner, the experience began including a ride in his custom designed vehicle, a stop at the market for breakfast foods and snacks, and stories about the island. He provided a tour of his gorgeous and well thought out garden on the way to our villa and then a tour of the villa. He had bicycles for our use and assisted us with a ride to the car rental and to the beach. Transportation to and from the Rohotu Fare is included. Nir is available to answer any questions you might have. He’s very knowledgeable about the island. Hands down, staying at Rohotu Fare should be part of the mainland Bora Bora experience! Logistics wise, expect a 15 minute bicycle ride to and from the beach and bring a flashlight or headlamp for the ride back at night. Also pack bug spray. You will be in the jungle. "
"We stayed at the Royal Bora Bora for only one night in between other parts of our trip but should have planned for more nights here. While the pool is small and the fish sandwiches we had at the bar restaurant were awful, the overall resort is charming, a cool Polynesian vibe, great breakfast buffet and family friendly games area near the very nice beach with kayaks available. It is walkable to the famous Matira beach, which was beautiful, and the hotel has fun transportation to town available for guests. We were there in July during the Heiva Polynesian dance competitions, which were amazing to watch. Highly recommend for a quality, reasonably priced stay. "
"The Westin was an amazing hotel to stay at. We had an overwater bungalow which offered privacy and an amazing view. Having our own private pool was a definite added bonus. There were daily activities for us to partake in such as paddle-boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, crafts, and of course the pool. The staff at the Westin made a point to know our names and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. This was truly an amazing experience! "
"This is the hands down best resort i have ever stayed in. Both The resort and our room is beautiful, not to mention the mind blowing lagoon. Staffs are friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend and we will come back one day for sure."
"HospitalityPkus! Stayed one night on a cruise ship getaway to Bora Bora. Owner was awesome as we checked in very late. Non traditional check in, fit for family. Asked our name and took us directly to the room. We chatted and got to know her. Wonderful low key stay!"
