"Paradise on Earth! The pool was clean and relaxing. Our room was cleaned beautifully daily. Views from the restaurants (especially at sunset) were to die for! The gem of the resort, though, is the staff! Activity/recreation staff of Lai, Vili, and Jelo became family. Eci was the most attentive and sweetest waitress. "We had a great stay at the Shangri La resort. The staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate. The resort is showing it's age a bit but overall provided everything we needed. The snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. The lounge chairs at the beach and pool were in bad need of an upgrade. But the beach and snorkeling made up for it. "The Waitui Beach Club Plus rooms are well worth the upgrade – every staff member went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing holiday (special shout-outs to Romeo, Mary, Sky and Elenoea from Waitui, as well as Fiu from the housekeeping team) and all the extra inclusions were fantastic. While there was a problem with the resort's air-conditioning system during our stay, we were provided with a fan to make the humid nights more bareable and it did not ruin our holiday at all. "

"Incredible experience, the resort is beautiful with epic snorkelling spots both on the house reef and within short boat trips nearby. Staff were amazing and catered to every need, with the resort also very well kept. The food is an enormous highlight, with a stellar, changing, multi course menu every day for lunch and dinner. "No beach! Not bad parking. Staff is nice, helpful and friendly, but then so is everyone in Fiji. The biggest downer was that there is no beach any where near, and we need a car or public transport to get to it"
