"This hotel is located just across the street from the beach, which was great. My room was not sea facing, but I still had a bit of a sea view from the side. The street does get busy with a lot of car traffic & people so you have to be aware of your surroundings & your belongings, esp. when walking around. "Had to book this as an emergency change when the initial hotel I booked (Avondale) was not available/closed. Turned out to be a great option. Amazing service and right by the beach, making it easy to get to the Comrades expo and start line. Definitely worth it. "

"The place is amazing, right on the beach with stunning views Well furnished and has AC in each room and the lounge. Kitchen has most amenities you will need. There's a parking garage in the shade for your car and in case you didn't want to swim in the beach, there's a pool on the fifth floor. Cleaning is done daily for an hour except sundays and beach towels were provided. Definitely will come back when I'm visiting Durban"

"The view is amazing but the bed is rock hard like a box. The sheets were old used hospital sheets with holes in them. The towels were used old torn towels that resemble beach towels from a nearby resort. The carpet is filthy. The dryer takes 5 cycles to dry a small load of clothes. There is black mold in the shower. The grounds were spectacular. The agent did allow us a late check out. I would not stay there again. "
