"We recently stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana and had an excellent experience overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff throughout the resort were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which really elevated the entire trip. We opted for the VIP upgrade with a swim-out room, and it was absolutely worth it. Having direct access to the pool added a level of convenience and luxury that made a big difference. A special mention goes to Jose, who did a fantastic job—attentive, helpful, and always making sure everything was taken care of. The restaurants were very good across the board, with a nice variety of options and solid quality. The beach was another highlight—clean, well-kept, and truly beautiful. The drinks were decent overall, though not always consistent depending on where you ordered. One of the standout experiences was the spa. The hydrotherapy session in particular was amazing and definitely worth doing—it was one of the most relaxing parts of the trip. We traveled in mid-March and couldn’t have asked for better weather—perfect conditions every day. Overall, this was a great vacation, and we would absolutely consider coming back again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Sirenis. Although the resort was a little bit of a drive from the airport, it was worth it due to the beach, pool and grounds. Loved the access to drinks and food throughout our stay. Most bartenders were friendly and helpful. Food at buffets were good but nothing special. Did al a carte dinning for dinners. Some were better than others. Japanese and French restaurants were standouts. Concierges were ok but didn’t like that they pushed you to listen to sales pitch on buying into timeshare. Although not too pushy, didn’t think it was necessary to have sales people walking around at the beach trying to sell excursions. They seemed to have been approved by the resort, but hotel security could do a better job keeping unofficial sales people off the beach trying to get u to take pictures or sell jewelry. Shows at the amphitheater were good and liked the live music by the pool at late afternoon. Great value for the money. We would return. "

"Just left after 10 days. Rooms great (we had Secrets Preferred), beach spectacular, nice pools and pool bars. But restaurants only so, so. We tried 6 restaurants to try and get a good steak. Not one good one. Tough meat and always overcooked, sorry to say. Lambchops at Bordeaux were excellent and good seafood at Tierra. Otherwise pretty mediocre food at the a la carte restaurants. We live in Chicago, with world class restaurants, but are not food snobs and do not expect great food at AIs. But these restaurants were just disappointing, at least to us. Actually we liked the buffets best -- you could see what you were getting before deciding what to put on your plate. We have been to a lot of all inclusives over the years and the food here was just a C."

"The staff was the best part they were super kind and helped us feel welcome. We traveled with a baby and she loved playing with the staff. They did confuse us about the upgrade to club status so make sure if they offer that you are clear on what it includes if you think it's worth it. We loved gusto which was the club status restaurant. It was like 340$ to upgrade our stay to club. They had a club specific pool that we loved but there was never any servers at that pool bar and they also didn't ever verify those members were club status which was kinda annoying we paid extra but it was never verified at the pool. The property was very clean. The room was clean per resort standards I'd say. I'm really particular about cleanliness so I do think the showers and bath tub could have been more clean. Also we had to ask for baby amenities and all of it didn't seem clean. I would recommend to bring a small bottle of distilled vinegar so you can descale the sterilizer machine that they provide. All of the stuff didn't seem clean which was stressful so I didn't use the bathtub and I also brought som cholorx wipes to wipe the high chair. BUTTTT it's amazing they even offer those things so just bring some cleaning supplies so you can feel good about using them. They always checked on us a million times so I loved that. Overall, it was a great stay. We drank only bottled water and washed my my babies stuff in bottle too but we still got stomach issues when we came back from the trip. "
