"Lovely staff, nicely renovated room in iconic building, great Penhaligons amenities in the room.
We were disappointed howerever with the quality of the breakfast: the cured meats were of poor quality, same as the cheese.
We stayed on the 1st floor on a Saturday night, and we could hear music from the restaurant below until 11pm, if not midnight.
Lastly, th bar at the area is always busy (no spaces reserved for guests) and we couldn't get a table to have some light lunch after checking out."

"Lovely room with see view. Very warm lucky had fan to use. Staff very friendly. Only negative looked like carpet could do with a good vacuum in some places, round windows and along skirting boards. Breakfast was plentiful in lovely surroundings. All in all nice hotel to spend our anniversary."

"Amenable and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere add to this l slept in the most comfortable hotel bed l have ever slept in. Decorated beautifully for Christmas.

"The staff were lovely and the food was great. We were upgraded to a superior room, which was wonderful and clean but the room was far too hot because it was next to the main working fireplace of the hotel. We had to have the window open the whole time to cool down, (but didn’t make too much difference in temperature) and then smoke from the chimney came into the room."

"Perfectly placed. Both quiet and central. Near to both beach and restaurants. Room large and clean. We were there to run the Brighton half marathon and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful for us with the early start and even provided protein bars and snacks for us. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend for any occasion 100%. Bar area had a lovely atmosphere to sit and play games. All the amenities that we needed were here and more and didn’t cost any more than...
