"It wasn’t a good experience from arrival. We understand that there’s flooding in Dubai. No guidance or email to let us know of alternative route and where to park. We ended up searching for few hours to get into the Ibn Battuta Mall. We tried calling the hotel gor guidance but no answer at all. We had to park the back of Ibn Battuta Mall, waiting for another half an hour for available spot. We had to drag our luggages inside the whole mall to get to the hotel. "Everything about the hotel was exceptional, from the staff, rooms, food, all absolutely first class. "Could not fault the hotel, staff or facilities, its what you would expect from Riu. Dubai Islands is a new developement and with Riu and Centara next door being the only two finished buildings on a large building site, there is nothing else around. Its a taxi ride to anything else,but not an issue as there are plenty outside the hotel"
