Drakenstein Hotels with Swimming Pools

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Comfortable, large bedroom with fantastic amenities. The only disappointment we had was the restrictive catering options. Breakfast was acceptable but not varied. Dinner was served only at 7:30pm and there was a set three course menu each night with only one option. We felt there ought to be a choice of three per evening. The gardens, pools and rooms were stunning. "

"Amazing from reception, food, service, room and the great staff. I would appreciate one queen bed as opposed to 2 single beds for the two of us because we are like twins and prefer 1 queen bed."

"Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. "

"Amazing find on the outskirts of Paarl. This historic Cape Dutch farm has bern tastefully decoratrd and restored with "craftsmanship" finishes and great attention to detail. Also a nice lounge with cosy fireplace. It's a small but intimate B&B with only 6 rooms. A beautiful and quiet location worth staying for longer than one night to explore the area and winelands."
