"Close to bus stop on Hatton-Avissawella road. Faded glory, but very pleasant dining area, lobby and lawn overlooking river in which you can swim- but carefully as in the middle it flows fast. Non AC rooms are large with effective fan. Lots of whitewater rafting in area. You are in lowland so can be very warm."

"Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."

"We stayed at Ayos before climbing up Sri Pada (Adam's Peak). Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has got also a nice small restaurant, with Sri Lankan food and offers free rides to the bottom of Sri Pada trek. Recommended"

"Très bien situé par rapport à l Adams Pick Propre et accueillant Ne pas s attendre à du grand luxe mais tous les hôtels autour de la montagne sont comme cela Cet hôtel est très agréable Très bon petit déjeuner "

"After you leave the main road to, literally, dive onto this hotel on a 45 or so degrees slope, you'll find yourself in a tiny combe crossed by the river flowing from the top of the main mountain: Sri Pada a.k.a. Adam's Peak. Legend has it that some vehicles are no longer able to climb it back and are consequently stuck there for ever. Why did you come here? Well, to climb that peak, of course! What else? The slope leading to the hotel and that you'll have to take in the reverse direction will...

"Excellent property, old world charm, over hundred year old hotel meticulously kept. Food was great at the Magnolia restaurant. The management and staff were great and made our stay comfortable. "

"We had an amazing stay in the Norwood Bungalow. The staff, food, setting, service, everything was some of the best we have experienced. "

"Overall it was a good stay. Front reception staff were very experienced and organized in checking in our large group into the hotel. The hotel facilities are kept in good condition. I think the cleanliness of the rooms could have improved considering the 5 star allocation to the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help. Food was okay, however there are not many options in the area so the hotel food may have been the best in the area. "
