"Great hotel. Situated close to the airport, and to Kuta where there are loads of great restaurants. At the same time, it’s an oasis of tranquility. Rooms are comfy with HUGE beds. If you can, book a lagoon access room. They’re well worth it. Pools are lovely with beautiful landscaping. "Solo traveler here. The check in was smooth. The place is like a maze. Room was clean and nice. Shower is weak. The shampoo and body wash bottles were full, but the pump was broken, and since the whole thing is mounted on the wall, couldn't try to pour some out to use. Thank goodness I packed my own travel size shampoo/conditioner, had to stretch them out to last the stay. Breakfast was cheap and had some good choices."

Lots of restaurants nearby including Grand Istana's very own restaurant serving delicious meals. Though close to the main road, we enjoyed peace and quiet within the units. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the resort to family and friends."
