"Property is a bit tired, some of the furniture couches chairs worn. However the hotel was clean and welcoming. Possibly introducing a continental breakfast would go down well. I would possibly stay again. Easy walk to town centre."

"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."

"Clean, spacious & very comfortable room. Breakfast was ok. Had to pay for an extra person (total 2 people in a king room). Had to pay for parking in their own lot, which seems a bit excessive. Our room had great views of the lake."

"Amazing staff, great location and parking The food is average and the menu is very limited, the room (19) has been updated recently but was right by the the main road and a noisy extract fan on the floor below which came on at 4.15am every morning. Overall it’s a nice big hotel that has been in the process of renovation for the last few years. It would be a much better experience if they could expand the menu and quality of the food."

"Overall a very good Hotel However two issues which explain my revised rating. On the first night there was a very loud fire alarm at 1.45am which lasted for about 10 minutes. We had a room at the very top of the building so in the absence of any Hotel staff we dressed and made our way down to reception area and were recommended for safety to stand outside in the rain! It transpired it was a false alarm but nether my wife or I saw any staff member. Another guest mentioned that this was the second...
