"Lovely hotel on the banks of the lake. Spa including indoor pool, sauna & steam room along with changing facilities. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Only downsides were breakfast was small portions, the veggie sausage was amazing but the veggie bacon not so much. There were many rooms that had been refurbished but ours wasn’t one of them, so the decor was a little dated & the fabric sofa needed a good clean. "Fabulous place with a lodge that contained everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Restaurant menu amd food were excellent. Staff in the main complex were all wonderful. Only negative was a member of leisure staff insisting that the jacuzzi was turned off after a short time at regular intervals and everyone had to get out . Not ideal for my elderly mother who was disappointed and could not go in the main pool or sauna/steam rooms. Never come across anything like this with any jacuzzi!!"

"Lovely quiet courtyard room - 309 - would request again for the peaceful location. We have stayed in a lake view room in the past and would pick the courtyard over it, as it means you aren’t on the main road. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from check-in, to spa, to restaurant. "
