"This is a bigger hotel that seems to cater to business travelers rather than offering a European hotel experience. Lots of little amenities. Very clean and nice. Dining at the hotel was expensive. "My daughter and I stayed at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel during our visit to Heraklion. While it didn't have the unique character and intimate atmosphere of some of the boutique hotels we stayed at elsewhere in Greece, it was still a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

"The hotel was lovely. Our room was very spacious with a living area and bathroom (with shower) separated by a door from the bedroom with king size bed and another bathroom (with soaking tub). The only challenging part was parking.We had to illegally park to unload the car and then drive it down to the port parking lot. It was about a five minute walk back to the hotel.

"Nice hotel. Nice rooms and pool area. Lovely Spa area but shame you have to book and pay for sauna. Normally are free but not a real issue. Gym looks good too but did not use. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful, polite and always at hand. The food in the restaurant and pool area and breakfast, also drinks were all tasty and well priced. Very lovely hotel and spa. would definately recommend and visit again"
