"Loved every minute of my stay from check in to check out. It was like stepping back in time to old style Spanish hospitality. Staff addressed us by name from the moment we arrived and couldn’t do enough to help and make us feel welcome. The owner, Mercedes was always on hand and the staff Miguel and Nando remembered the little things, such as what we drank. Rooms spotlessly cleaned every day and the sea view was beautiful. "

"Breakfast was good but could be a little chaotic at busy times. Would prefer more non-buffet options at lunchtime (the bar does have a small but acceptable menu). Loved the golf, table tennis, chess, entertainment (all free). Rooms were very good & clean. Parking could be a bit tricky to find a space. Not impossible- just could take a while. "All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy). "

"We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. "Gran hotel con variedad de entretenimiento. Mis hijos disfrutaron mucho de los toboganes de la piscina y de la sala de juegos para niños. La habitación en la que estuvimos era muy espaciosa y las camas eran muy confortables. El desayuno es muy completo, y hay opciones para todos los gustos. Sin duda, repetiremos! "

"Vi sov två nätter på Almijara. Alltid bemannat i receptionen och bagageutrymme tillgängligt både förre och efter incheckningen. Rent och fräscht på rummet, städning varje dag om man vill. AC i hela hotellet. Prisvärd frukostbuffé för 8 euro. Nackdelen är att det inte finns parkering till hotellet så det kan vara lite knivigt att hitta parkeringsplatser i närheten, men vi lyckades hyfsat med det. Mycket prisvärt och bra hotell. "
