"We well respect that The Stanley is an historic landmark in a stunning location; spectacular views. It has beautiful gardens, a maze and guided tours. It clearly falls into the category of historic hotels. The hotel participates in the several Estes Park shuttles to downtown and trailheads. Very convenient) My issues are the extensive construction taking place that was noisy, dirty and which compromised beautiful views. (Not on the weekend) We changed our room since we did not want to look out...

"If you want a place with all the amenities you need plus more , this is where you should stay. This place had multiple pools , indoor and outdoor, multiple bars, and delicious breakfast with a stunning view is the mountains. The kids enjoyed the complementary golf cart rides around the resort. There was so much to do, would definitely come back. Best part the staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating."

"2nd stay at the Lodge...convenient location to attractions in town and within 10 minute drive of RMNP entrance. Saw a black bear & plenty of dear on the backside of the property. Larger Suites are the way to go."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor and very dark. If I were to stay there again, I would not want a first floor room. A free continental breakfast, or at least free coffee/tea/water in the lobby, would be a nice touch. Was kind of surprised that wasn't offered as it is at most other hotels now. Honestly, was a tad bit disappointed."
