"Very nice hotel that upheld the Mariott standards. The hotel and rooms are very clean. It is in a very good location, across from the New World shopping center with plenty of shops and food options. It s also connected to a Luckin coffee and McDonalds that we frequented a lot for that morning coffee and late night snack. It is also a very short walk to the Nanjing pedestrian road (west side). "A truly great hotel right in the middle of the city, easy to reach and perfect for a trip to Shanghai! We stayed there in June 2026 and the room was absolutely stunning, great view and the whole hotel was very clean and elegant. The pool on the top floor made our trip even sweeter, with the great view towards the city & being a relaxing aspect after our exploration of the city. 10/10, would recommend it!"

"The hotel's location was awesome, price was fair and the hotel was updated with very nice gym room and hot tub/sauna separately for men and women. The rooms are good size and beds are comfortable. However, the AC at the room we stayed at was not the best (we didn't change room because we thought it would cool down the temperature over time, but it did not), it couldn't keep the room as cold as we like. The cleaning service/crew was excellent. We would probably stay at China hotel again but...
