"Lovely hotel- nice front desk. Early checkin not available but we did have Expedia ViP rewards which helped! 2 drinks and 2 apps! Nice big room- but the bed was very hard and the shower had great hot water and pressure but you need to have an adjustable shower head because the water gets scalding hot. The staff brought us 2 additional sodas and snacks which was a nice surprise and the airport shuttle was prompt and a nice van. Good location."

"Not worth the money. Pros: good location and big space. Very outdated and not the friendliest front desk. We asked about the Jacuzzi and you had to reserve it ahead of time. So we took a look around the property and went to check out the Jacuzzi area, I’m assuming they clean it before they fill it up? There were two empty Jacuzzi tubs, but they were dirty inside and all around so we opted to skip. Our room was outdated, and the beds were hard. Water was lukewarm at best and the morning of our checkout. There was some issue with the pipes so we weren’t able to have a shower. Definitely not worth the $200 a night that we paid. We saved a much nicer hotel in Antigua for about $130 with excellent service."

"Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Atitlán. The staff was extremely attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and good overall; while they could benefit from some renovation updates, the hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was spectacular everything we tried was delicious, and the drinks from the bar were excellent as well. The breakfast buffet was honestly one of the best we have had in quite some time, with a great variety and quality. The only aspect we did not particularly like was the check-out and check-in schedule. Check-out is at 11:00 AM while check-in is at 3:00 PM, which can feel a bit limiting, especially for guests staying only one night, since it reduces the amount of time available to fully enjoy the property and amenities. If possible, I would recommend considering a later check-out time, perhaps around 1:00 PM, as many hotels offer. I believe that small adjustment would make the overall experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we truly enjoyed our time there."

"Room is very night. I think something that would make it a lot better is if they had new towels. The ones I had were all frayed and very light. Staff for the most part is very good. I think the policy of the hotel that you can not do a check out the previous night when your flight is at 3am is not good. It would be nice just to do check out the previous night and get your receipt there instead of having to stop by the lobby."

"I wouldn’t normally touch a Best Western in USA but I learned from my travel Holiday Inn or Best Western can be quite nice outside of USA. This was a proof of that. The hotel is in the best part of town Zona 10. Steps away from Hyatt hotel - a posh hotel. The rooms are newly renovated , nothing about the room screams ‘budget’. The hotel is in what looked like a converted mansion. The interior is still adorned with wood panels like it probably originally was as a colonial style mansion it was. The hotel feels homey. For 1/2 the price I paid to stay at the Hilton nearby, this felt like a better stay overall."
