"We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed. We had planned on dinner one night and the breakfasts were better in there. It was a nice touch, though, for the hotel to offer free wine, etc, every night until restaurant/bar re-opens. We do love the hotel location and facility in general."

"Our stay was just fine at the Holiday Inn. The breakfast is worth paying extra for because it’s through their restaurant, not really a continental breakfast. Beds were nice and it was convenient for my trip, close to campus, and my relatives house. Can walk to Walgreens or restaurants if needed!"

"If you’re looking for a hotel that nails the basics and then casually throws in cookies, the Country Inn in Champaign is your place. Check-in was smoother than the gravy on the breakfast biscuits, and we were greeted with warm cookies—which is basically the hospitality equivalent of a hug from grandma. The next morning, breakfast came through clutch: waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and coffee that was not only drinkable but actually enjoyable. That’s a rare hotel breakfast achievement...

"the hotel is nice and clean but the room service is not good at all. I am staying in this hotel for 5-6 nights, multiple times I have requested room service to clean the room and take out the trash, but they have not showed up. only once they have come (in last 5 days) and they have cleaned only bathrooms. they have not changed the sheets. service is very bad. so do not recommend this place. I end up staying here since I settled my stuffed but do not recommend."
