"The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun.
The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

"The worst place we have ever been. The room was dirty, there were water leaks, cracked walls and floors, broken windows, rusty faucets. It rained the whole night and we could hear the loud noise of the water falling on the tin roof.
We had a reservation for four nights and stayed just one, after agreement with the director of paying for one night getting the rest of our money our money back. This never happened. We have been calling them for two months now and they just give bad excuses. Staff...

"We loved our stay here so much! The property is gorgeous and the bungalows feel very private and unique. The staff is incredible helpful and took us to our bungalow to walk us through the amenities. It is worth noting the location is very remote. If you do not have a car, the hotel was very helpful arranging taxis. The final road to get to the property is a very bumpy road so we didn’t want to leave more than we had too.
We wish we had an extra day we could’ve spent to just enjoy the property...
