"This is a gorgeous property but not as all inclusive as you'd think for the price.They try to get you to a timeshare meeting when you arrive but they aren't too pushy. Then, as you go, you find out there are a lot of "yes, buts". For example, we asked a bartender if we could take a bottle of wine back to our room with us and he said yes just call room service. So we did and they said the limit was 2 glasses and it would be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly but you had to pay mucho out of...

"We stayed four days in April 2026. The property is wonderful, with an extensive beach, great pool and wonderful staff. The restaurant is very good, lots of variety and lots of food. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and a good menu. Our room was clean and the Air Conditioning was good. The hounds are extensive, trees, shrubs and Howler monkey in the trees. Would stay there again. "

"The rooms were clean. The pool was wonderful. We were only a three minute walk to beautiful Playa Hermosa beach. Best of all were the staff! From bartender Jorge to the front desk staff. When we checked out, I forgot a bathing suit that was hanging up in my shower to dry and they held it for me for five days until we returned to Playa Hermosa. Now, that is customer service! I will stay there again."

"This property is a “Diamond in the rough”. The location is perfect. A half block from the main Beach (the moneys show up around 4-5 pm) and tons of shops, restaurants, bars and all things fun rentals. The staff were superb as was the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are a little dated but very clean. There seems to be something entertaining going on every day or evening in the bar/restaurant area and the pool area was a perfect oasis. "We had an amazing stay here for our birthday. The property is so beautiful and very well kept. The poolside was perfect, breakfast was included every morning and it was very delicious and made fresh, we ate at the restaurant for dinner, the food and drinks were spot on. The villa (room) was perfect for us and loved waking up everyday to the garden view with surrounding sounds of nature. Oh and perfect location to the playa hermosa beach, just a few meters away. We will absolutely visit here...

"Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Room was clean. Air conditioned work. This hotel was more than a four star. Standard room is small. We upgraded to the junior suite and enjoyed it immensely. Beach 5 minute walk. restaurants 3 minutes. Grocery stores across the street. "

"A beautiful stay in Guayacan. Staff very helpful. Grace was our favourite, she spent time teaching our children Spanish and made us feel very welcome every time. We had an issue with the water but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. A unique experience that we really loved. Food was delicious, go half board if you can.
