"We had a great stay here. It is a small resort, so there's not a lot of activity going on, if that's something you're looking for. Being a small resort, you get to know the staff and other guests, which made for a great experience. Emmanuel at the pool bar was awesome!! Geovanny at the tour desk was also great and helpful with so many things. Also, there was no issue getting deck chairs any time of the day. The rooms are nice and clean and well maintained. The resort looks like it's been around for a while, so there is some wear and tear, but overall, the resort is well maintained, with really nice grounds. The food was good all week, but the buffet was the only real option. There was the ability to get things ordered (like sandwiches, burgers, fries). We did not go hungry. The beach is right at the resort and is nice and sandy. It's darker sand, but wasn't too hot on the feet. It is a public beach that is accessed through a gate, but it is quiet and you don't get bothered by people trying to sell things and resort has loungers that can be put out on the beach for you. Overall, a great experience."

"I am very satisfied with my stay. The hotel and room were great. There is a kitchenette if you want to cook some food. Each room has a little patio in front of it with table, chairs, and hammock that face the pool. I especially enjoyed eating my meals on the patio being able to enjoy the weather and the view. Breakfast was delicious, served each morning including eggs, fresh tropical fruit, gallo pinto, and Costa Rican baked goods. The pool was nice for a refreshing swim. The location can't be beat, as it is just a block from the beach and right near the heart of Playas Del Coco close to all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We had very good communication pre check in. The front desk was responsive and supportive when there was an issue with my credit card. Sebastian at the front desk was great. We also enjoyed Fabio, our server in the restaurant. Very personable and helped us with our Spanish. The property is beautiful and so tranquil. "

"Outstanding staff and beautiful location make this resort stand out. This is the second year in a row we have stayed for a week. All inclusive, nice clean rooms, 2 pools, good food. Live entertainment most nights. Pool aerobics are fun. Great birds and iguanas. Monkeys, white squirrels, friendly raccoons and magpies at your door step. The ocean view and beach are amazing. Best food at the regular buffet—the restaurant option is more private, the the food and selection is really the best at the buffet."

"The room was clean and beautiful. The staff is AMAZING!!! Vans shuttle you around and they make everything so easy, fun and relaxing! Nelson and Ahmed were two of our favorites who went above and beyond! Our entire experience was top notch at Secrets! Thanks everyone!!!!"
