"Great Hotel"

"The hotel and staff were great. Our only issue really was that although you get early entry into the park, alot of the rides don't open until later in the day which means there's not a lot to do with smaller kids who aren't going on the skylion. The evening buffet is nice but also expensive and not really worth it for families with picky eater kids"

"Parking was easy to find. Room was clean and staff was very friendly.."

"Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again."

"I booked the room for a guest we had visiting the U.K.. I rang the hotel and left my card to pay for the early check in etc and sent an additional email confirming I was paying for additional charges and still my guest was charged. I won’t use this hotel again for visiting guests."

"Place was good however unable to watch stuff like Netflix as you cant connect your device to the TV wirelessly but overall good"

"My wife and I stayed here for our minimoon and enjoyed the architecture and views of the surrounding hills. What a lovely place to reset and the team were so helpful and accommodating. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and spa were a treat!"

"Tout simplement magnifique. La campagne près de Londres. Les jardins, le service, la nourriture tout est impeccable."

"Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again."

"Excellent location and newly renovated suites are fantastic."

"Very friendly and professional check-in. Stayed in room 306. Decor was tired and scruffy. Dangerous light socket by the bed. Window was filthy and all the paint work around it was a mess. Breakfast options were OK. Overall disappointed by the quality of the room and wouldn’t recommend."

"Fantastic location with great staff It’s a 400+ year old hotel and looks stunning, that age has it’s challenges and some internal corridors could use yet another upgrade Good pub and restaurant on site Would use again"

"Front desk, associates, bar tender, maids, everybody was wonderful We will come back and tell our friends about the nice hotel"
