This resort caters mainly to locals and it appears that many come to this resort to relax and unwind on the weekends. "If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally!...

"If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay."

"Great location with a local feel! Less touristy than other parts of the island and easy transportation to other areas via water taxi or cab. Rooms were very large with a nice breakfast in the coffee shop with a local option was included. Great spot to get away from more touristic areas of the island 🏝️"

"This was a nice boutique hotel in a cozy bay. Traveled with my husband and daughter. Our room felt alittle cramped and would have definitely preferred a larger room. Everything else was great. Water taxis, excursions, restaurants were all within walking distance. The shuttle was great to and from airport. If you want a quiet less commercialized experience would highly recommend."
