"Property is definitely older, rooms need an upgrade. The floor we stayed on had a strong sulphur smell. The good news is they are undergoing a complete renovation this year. Beach is great… soft sand. Love the size of the property. Not too big, easy to get around. Food was great. Staff was excellent! Very kind and always accommodating!"

The thing that we did not like was, if you wanted to eat at other restaurants, you had to queue at 5.30pm to get a seat or a buzzer for a later table, people would queue from 5pm and most was all booked out by 6.pm. "If you do not book through Riu, you have to get your own shuttle. you can do this through Expedia, but after you book it you will want to call the shuttle company and get very clear meet up instructions. the airport is full of people who tell you they are with your shuttle just to try to sell you something."

"For being our first time bringing our kids it’s a perfect place price wise. Great place to get an actual chance to get in the pool as a family without the hassle and stress of overcrowding. Food and amenities for the price was great. Staff and room overall do highly recommend! Very safe surroundings overall yo adventure!"

"We had a great room in newer area on top floor looking over the ocean. Everything was clean. Pillows were excellent. lol. The restaurant / bar wasn’t very good. Rooms- dirty, severely outdated, cracks in the walls, old beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, a lightbulb in the bathroom for your light.
