"The atmosphere was terrific. The staff wonderful. We were in "standard" accomodation and our room had 2 queen beds, a spacious bathroom, tea making facilities and a balcony overlooking the pools areas. The room & house-keeping were fastidiously clean. The resort is quite spreadout and access to some areas - like the beach - is not fluid. Perhaps some signs? "The Doubletree Resort was like a home away from home. The staff turned into family-family you like. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and accommodating. So many activities available to keep every age entertained. The meals were excellent-a wide assortment for the buffet breakfast and dinners. Great for families or couples."

"I stayed in an ocean front bure, they are older Fijian style beach huts/cottage, which was exactly what I wanted. They do have newer renovated rooms elsewhere on the property. Remember this is a small locally owned and operated resort. In if you are looking for amazing views and peace and quiet, this is the place. There are 2 restaurants and the food was great. "We booked Nakelo off the online images, and upon arrival it was clear the damage they had sustained from the recent cyclone. Our first day was cloudy and a bit windy so it didnt show off the resort to its beauty. We had 5 days there, and by the end we didnt want to leave.
