"Cleanliness "

"The location inside the park is the only real advantage of this lodge. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The staff were not very friendly, and check-in took a long time because there was usually only one person working at the front desk. If you stay here, use the kiosk for as many things as possible—it will save you a lot of time. The restaurant was also not great. The “Traveler’s Buffet Breakfast” isn’t really a buffet. Staff control the portions, and when you go back for more they give you a hard time, which defeats the whole purpose of calling it a buffet. Coffee is about $4 and nothing is complimentary. The coffee maker in our room was rusty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Overall, the location is convenient, but the service and amenities leave a lot to be desired."

"The BBQ restaurant is no longer there, so there's no where to eat except a tiny bar area in the lobby. Thankfully, a very nice employee directed us to some restaurants within walking distance. There is only one small pool area other than the waterpark area, which is quite a walk from most of the rooms. And much smaller than it appears on the website and in the pictures. Rooms were really nice with a balcony; however, the view from the balcony is of an alley and laundry facility. Why even have it, seriously? I was woke up at 4 am Tuesday night by someone yelling obscenities outside our room, evidently having been locked out of his room. Overall, not what I was expecting based on the amount of money I spent."

"Lovely room and great front desk service. Can’t beat the views but if you don’t ask when reserving a room you won’t see the sunrise or sunset. Still a great place to stay with easy walk to a local restaurant and hiking trails where you can see the views. Hot tub doesn’t open until 8:00am so those of us on East Coast time have to keep busy until then! Highly recommend! "
