"I give Amphitryon Hotel 1 star because of the sea view from our room and it’s location, but our stay was terrible because:
1. Deceitful information on its web-site that said that the hotel, for a fee, offered a shuttle to and from the airport. Called them to ask about this and they gave me an email address to request the shuttle; I sent the email and someone at the hotel told me that they didnt offer this service but they could schedule a private driver on a Mercedes Benz for €210 each way. "Exquisite property. Anastasia and Thanasis work hard to keep this property in perfect condition. Anastasia is a master gardener and the gardens are delightful to behold. Bird sound and nature abound. The swimming pool is a massive beauty and has a wonderful deep end. Well built structure, architecture and furniture. Service is amazing."

"Beautiful property in terms of the grounds and landscaping. Beaches had clear water. the pool was super fun for the kids. The food was great. Granted it is not a Michelin star restaurant as you're not paying for that kind of level but I felt that everyone could find what they wanted in terms of salads, veggies, protein, deserts. "We absolutely love this property. It is beautiful and built completely from Stone with beautiful gardens and fruit trees that surrounded our property and the most stunning Stone terrace that overlooks the entire town and the port. The staff is accommodating and friendly and I couldn't say enough about this stay. There were a lot of mosquitoes and my kids got a bunch of bites, but that really isn't the fault of staff, just a heads up to bring some bug spray."
