"We had the all inclusive package. The food was repetitive and similar to a cafeteria. Nothing was really outstanding food and drink wise. We left the hotel a few times to eat at local restaurants. The resort was under renovations and there was only one restaurant with strange hours. The disco and beach restaurants were not available and there was no mini club for the kids. "Beautiful property in terms of the grounds and landscaping. Beaches had clear water. the pool was super fun for the kids. The food was great. Granted it is not a Michelin star restaurant as you're not paying for that kind of level but I felt that everyone could find what they wanted in terms of salads, veggies, protein, deserts. The cleaning crew was excellent. They cleaned the room every single day and they did a great job. The check in staff was very helpful especially Elvis went above and beyond. I think its a great value for the money but you also have to go at a time when the hotel is not overwhelmed meaning if they are at full capacity you have to be more patient. If you go in May like we did or September and after chances are you will be much more satisfied than going at the peak of the season."
