"The hotel is lovely; we stayed in one of the casitas that had a living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Think large wooden beams like a forest cottage. The views out our windows were of the lake and mountains beyond. The hotel has an outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The dining room is the same wooden beam design with a large fireplace and great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful."

"This was one of the most amazing stays, being in the forest is such a surreal experience - the sounds, the sweet smell of the forest, the resident cats! We visited in the first week of April and stayed in room Botanica 18, which had a hot tub on the balcony - this came in handy when the rain started. We also enjoyed the pool (which is open 9 am to 9 pm) - we went at 8 pm, and we had the whole pool area for ourselves, plus the water was the perfect temperature. "We stay at hotels over 60 days a year and have done so for the last 30 years plus. In that time, we have probably checked out early of 3 hotels. This is one of them. I totally feel for the staff who are fielding complaints. It is not there fault. The hotel feels unfinished, like they have run out of money. In fact there is no road yet to the hotel. The main issue is that the walls are paper thin. By this, I mean tbat you can hear conversations outside the room at the far end of the corridor....
