"This was one of the best Motel 6 I have stayed in, only two in my 70 years. The lobby isn’t that great and I almost walked out. Anchorage is expensive and I only needed the room for one night, so I gave it a try. When I opened the door to the room, I was holding my breath. The first thing I saw was the bathroom and that is why I stayed. Clean and looked newly remodeled. Room cleaned but the bed not so liked and much to soft and lumpy but it did its job. I highly recommend for a night or two,...

"Quaint hotel to spend the night before boarding our cruise. Because the room was an accessible room (I wasn’t aware I had reserved one) the bed was very low to the floor. Staff was very nice especially the shuttle driver."

"It’s deceiving, they show pics of the front entrance and the beautiful lobby, but the place is run down and old nasty carpet, and the reason I chose there and paid so much was for the pool… it was so cold the kids shivered while in it. No hot tub so I’m sure it was not heated… indoor pool and no sun or heat is ridiculous. Was not happy at all… kinda getto feeling."

"No A/C outside of rooms. A/C in room is in the window tucked behind blackout curtains so you either get a cold room with 24/7 sunshine or a hot dark room. The carpets in the hallways are gross. The beds and pillows were lumpy - none of us slept well and woke up stiff and sore. The restaurant service was awful. We had to get up and find salt, ketchup, water and coffee jugs to get our own refills because we didn't even see our waitress to flag her down. The server also brought the wrong order to...

"Super clean, organized, friendly staff. Anchorage is pricey in summer, but everything else about this stop over was 5 star."

"Our toilet wasn't working when we arrived. They said they were sending someone up, no one came. The best they did was offer for us to use the restroom down stairs in the lobby, weren't compassionate at all! We asked for another room and we didn't even get a response!"

"The room was very dirty and stinky. Kitchen and bathroom was especially very stinky. The mattresses was not appropriate to sleep and curtains was not even covering complete window to make it appropriate for sleep in night."

"I like the wooden style of this hotel. It feels warm to me! The room is very clean and housekeeping is very nice. There’s a small cafeteria and a nice restaurant/bar at the entrance. Parking is easy too. Recommend!"

"The view from the main deck was absolutely incredible, but none of the rooms have a view. The staff are friendly, but there’s only so much they can do because the place is set up to extract as much profit from each guest as possible. Even refilling your own coffee mug costs $4.75. The rooms and food are pretty mediocre. Also there’s no AC, and it got very warm in our room."
