"The room was nice. Clean and comfortable. The Continental Breakfast consisted of coffee cake, muffins, and toast. Jelly and peanut butter was served in community bowls and cream cheese in a slab on a plate. Corn flakes also available in a large open, help yourself bowl. Coffee, tea, milk and 3 juices bananas and mandarin oranges were available. No hot dishes. Snack machines were not working on my floor and nobody were aware until I told them on second day there. "The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only troublesome thing that my wife and I had during our entire stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage Downtown/Ship Creek, almost every day, we had to have our room key rebooted."

"The property is amazing. The walk in coffee shop unfortunately guilts/shames you into to tipping a min of 20%, even if you just order a bottle of water. The big screen they turn around for you to pay that makes you select a tip or not is irritating as everyone behind you can see if you tip. If I order my food and I am standing, I am not tipping.. those staff get a non-tipped wage. Get rid of the tip shakedown …"

"We didn't feel the area was that safe and i would even say this for downtown Anchorage. There were many homeless people and it was very sad. Some seemed agitated."

"The lodge was very nice. They were able to switch us to a 1st floor room. Be aware you may hear people above you if you're on the first floor. The food was good. Breakfast at the Lodge was very good and Skyy took good care of us. The staff is very friendly. Would stay here again."

"The rooms were very clean and modern, and very spacious as well! It was a convenient location, close to the port where our day cruises were leaving from and also the park entrance to Exit Glacier. Self check-in was smooth and clear instructions were provided. I would highly recommend staying in this wonderful place if you are planning a trip to Seward. "
