"The doors have broken glass in them very dark entryway and parking. As a solo traveler this did not feel safe. There was clothing and debris in the hallways outside of the elevator. The rooms smell bad and were very dated. The only thing going for it was the bedding and the beds were comfortable. Other than that I didn't feel safe enough to stay through the duration of my booking."

"Unfortunately, the room I reserved was not available and I was placed in a substitute room that did not meet my needs. I was not informed about the substitute until I returned to the desk to check out. The staff apologized profusely. The GM assured me that I would not be charged. I wished it could have worked out because I was looking forward to the amenities."

"The property was in disrepair, carpet was old and dirty, room was not clean, trash, including a lady’s razor still in garbage can, stains on sheets, hair on sheets and in tub and on back of toilet."

"The staff were excellent. The location and facilities were also very good. It was a very short walk to everything in the area. I did not get back into my car until I was leaving Alaska. Will definitely stay there again the next time that I go to Seward."

"The room was great, but please hire more staff. It took us 2 hrs to be served our food in the restaurant. One person was in charge of everything, which was no fault of their own. At breakfast the coffee ran out & it took way too long to bring more. Once again one server was in charge of cleaning their own tables & helping people."

"If you are going to Alaska and flying out to other areas, this is the place to stay. Although the place is a little old, it is kept in good shape and the staff is more than helpful and very friendly."
