"This was the perfect hotel for our family after a long day on the road from Albuquerque. We were only passing through Alamosa on our way to the Great Sand Dunes but I would have enjoyed staying another night or two at this location. The rooms were spacious and everything was very clean, including the laundry and common areas. The staff was professional and very courteous. "

"The staff were so nice and the cabana was clean and roomy. The only thing to watch out for are the bugs that get inside, but that’s just because of the location and completely understandable. Also, dining options are about a 20 min drive, again due to its location. But just keep that in mind when planning your visit."

From the spices, cookware, dishes, and towels in the kitchen, to the extra pillows, blankets, cots, and air mattresses for the bedrooms, to the boards and sleds for fun at the Dunes, everything was clean and well-stocked. It's a very private spot, so our family was able to just enjoy the getaway and focus on each other without the distraction of needing or worrying about the property. Communication with the owner and team was top-notch, as they sent clear check-in and other info ahead of time and responded quickly to our few questions! We really appreciated the quality of the property and the experience behind it."
