"Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. Im Zimmer ist ein modriger Geruch wahrzunehmen der ohne einschalten...

"Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. "We had a wonderful time and the highlight of the stay was watching the sunset from the infinity pool. The rooms were spacious with a super comfy bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were plentiful and tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was always available and so kind. All the bar staff were delightful. "Terrible hotel experience. Room was dirty on arrival. Asked for it to be cleaned again but was still dirty. Trash in the shower, dirty bed sheets and towels, hair in the toilet/sink/floor. Moved to a new room which was much cleaner. Lots of mosquitoes. Annoyingly few plug sockets. There was a dog barking outside all night and no sound proofing. I didn’t sleep a wink. "Lovely location inside the Fort - fabulous breakfast each morning and super friendly staff. If you need any help make sure you ask prior to 6pm each day as Hotel staff go home and only restaurant staff left to help, we didnt require and staff let us know in advance."
