"This was an excellent choice for a day trip to Cinque Terra. Shert walk to the station and then 10 minutes to start Cinque Terra tour from the north. Much quieter than La Spezia and local secret I think. Right on the beach. The hosts were lovely people and though I booked the day later it was no trouble to change for me. They set a high standard in hospitality."

"This is truly an amazing property in the mountains above Levanto. How amazing to be above where birds fly and just hear them sing along with church bells. What a fun way to access this property via a monorail. This is a beautifully renovated farm house from way back with a touch of modern features. The whole staff was truly wonderful. I would highly recommend a stay here. "

"Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather! "

One restaurant was closed and the other fully booked so that we could not have dinner there, despite trying to reserve the previous day. The decoration needs a refresh (see photos of dining room and bar) and the corridor carpets are stained (see photo). The beach was over-crowded. Most of the staff were uncharming. The a/c was feeble.
