Unfortunately one of the rooms we were allocated (even though they were the same price) was located at the back of building looking into a hill and was very dark. "Renovated Art Deco rooms, great shower, comfy bed, amazing location. Such a shame about the nightclub / band / loudmusic at night early mornings. Lift out of order. Guest balcony absolutely filthy."

"We really appreciated the restoration work here - they’ve kept the heritage feel of the hotel intact without making it feel dated. Despite being above a pub and right on a main road, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Great location for exploring North Sydney. The common room and kitchen was a lovely surprise. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus that made mornings easy."

"No drainage for all the water in the gutters"

"There was some difficulty finding the property and when found there was another car taking up two car spots causing a problem. This car was still taking up two spots even when we left so the owner was not informed. After some time we found the main office and were given the keys. All good helpful people in the office."
