"The very warm welcome and smiling friendly service from the staff I received from the very start made my stay particularly special. The room was quiet and separate from the main building. It was kept spotlessly clean. The food was excellent; breakfasts were varied and excellent and the meal I had in the restaurant was also of a very high quality. "Cedar court is a nice clean hotel with everything you need for an enjoyable and restful stay. Rooms are spacious and well stocked with tea and coffee. The yorkshire dialect leaflet was a nice quirk. Parking was very reasonable at £4 for 24 hours with the option of longer. Navigation to the hotel is a bit tricky but once in its easy to park. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of choice. The sausages were a little on the cheap side, scrambled egg could have been...

"PLEASE READ!! This place is swarming with crack heads in and around the property. It is absolutely disgusting. The reception staff don’t let you leave or give your deposit back until they have physically checked the rooms, which is purely because the place is swarming with drug users. The BEDDING is heavily stained, the carpets are stained the whole thing should be advertised as a halfway house. This is not a hotel, yes it’s cheap, but it’s not even acceptable to sleep in during a cross country...

"We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you"

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"Very nice hotel and lovely breakfast too. We were with a toddler so cautious about the noise as there were many reviews about high noise level. When we close the windows, it didn’t bother us. It’s so close to many good restaurants and attractions. So we loved it."

"Disappointing. Booked this hotel due to the free Airport Shuttle Bus. Arrived well within the advised operating hours of the shuttle bus. Called the number given by the hotel to be asvised the number was no longer in operation. Was left stranded at Pearson Airport at 21.30 with no option but to get a taxi which cost $36 to travel less than 2km. Would have been better paying more for a better property. Really dissapointing."
