"We were delighted we chose to stay at the hotel Miramere. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the old town, the main bus station and the city centre. The staff were all very friendly and helpful which makes this hotel stand out even more. The room was a good size, modern and clean with all the amenities you would expect. The hotel bar and restaurant is very good and the cooked to order breakfast was amazing as was buffet options. We would absolutely choose to stay here...

The place was clean, had the things we needed, and was quiet enough. The only small glitch was finding the place and getting in. "We had Pero (the owner) pick us up from the airport. This ensured we arrived at the accommodation without any issue. The apartment was clean and tidy with all necessary appliances. The pool area was clean and tidied everyday and the view is amazing. WiFi worked very well both inside and in the pool area. Cavtat is a little way from Dubrovnik old town but you can travel by bus, uber or boat from the harbour. For us it was ideal and we would definitely return."

"The room was not ready when I arrived. They put me in another room and did not update in their system, so this caused later issues. I was in the spa from 9:30 to 1pm and my room was not cleaned. I complained and they gave me free drinks in the bar. I returned to the room 2 hours later and it still was not clean. A manager had to get involved. The room condition was poor. Maintenance does not seem to be consistent at this property. The elevator kept going to floor 5 and staff knew about it for some time, I found out. Check in was slow, and no perks were offered even though the hotel was not full. A general lack of attention to detail in general. I had 2 spa days, 2 meals at the hotel, and stayed in a junior suite, but no awareness of priority guests was observed. It could have been a positive experience, but it was not. The spa therapists were both very good. The only bright spot. I didn't stay for breakfast because the clean table I sat at was actually dirty even though it was set. Again, just attention to detail missing. Unfortunate. I would not return."

"We stayed for one night due it’s close proximity to the airport, Dubrovnik, Cavtat- w/ plenty of things to do the day before our departure. The property itself is in an amazing spot, with private beaches & large pool overlooking in the ocean- although being May & a cloudy day the pool was too cold for us. The staff was great, rooms were clean, & free breakfast was good. Travelers need to remember they’re not paying or staying in a five-star hotel, and this was far above par for the course. There are also some buildings that were destroyed during the war, which can provide surreal insights for unsuspecting travelers."
