Take advantage of the taxi service provided in order to aboid getting lost in the winding alleys that make up the Old City. Its unlike anything youve seen in a good way. "Everything was fantastic! I couldn't have been happier with the room or service I got. The bed was comfy, the room was big and the view amazing (from 4th floor). They had even towel warmers and new coffee powder was brought every day. The location was great too and felt safe as a solo female traveller, bus stations were not far either. "

"Beautiful and stylish. Right on edge of old town which makes public parking easy and your near the historic center. Signage at door wasn’t clear to me, but the address is right and we were greeted at the door by Vlad who was very warm and helpful. 73 steps up, but as consolation, the view and quiet is better. "

"Location was convenient to walk to the old city stores and restaurants, however looking out of the window in the room was a junkyard, scrap metal and other debris The bathroom was fabulous with very modern fixtures. The electric lock system was wonderful not having a physical key was great "

"The Balatura was a delight from the moment. I walked onto the property until I left. It was clean and beautiful and done in such a tasteful way. Everyone was polite and made me feel welcome. It was convenient to the city center and to the Harbor. It was slightly difficult to find in the uniquely, winding all streets, but well worth the effort."

"Recently remodeled full kitchen. Spacious. Difficult To find. No front desk. More like an Airbnb. Many many steps to get to the apartment. "

"Little tricky to find at first, as it's IN the palace and the door isn't especially obvious until you see it. Once you're there it's a fantastic spot, couldn't be closer to the center of everything in that area and the hosts are wonderful."

"It was ok it was however Tiny much smaller than looked in photos . Lots of clutter even vacuum cleaner outside the door. Owner was very pleasant however we moved to a cheaper really great hotel just around the corner . I live quirky this really wasn’t just cramped with very little usefulness "

"The apartment was clean and extremely well-equipped. The staff members were friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station."
