"Great to experience a night in the rainforest although not for the faint hearted! The sounds at night were a bit scary if you’re not used to it and a large branch or something fell onto our cabin and scared the life out of me! The heavy rain kept me awake most of the night as was very loud! I could not relax for fear of a tree falling but that’s just my anxiety as I’m sure it was quite safe! "Right in the rainforest. This place is a great escape and has its own swimming holes. Restaurant was reasonably priced given its remoteness and with good portion sizes. Room was airy and lots of space to move around. "

"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
