It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. "The hotel staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Check-in was fast and welcoming. When we got to our room, it was time to go out and watch the fireworks. It was a cold night, we came back to the hotel and it was lovely and warm, the bar staff and security were so helpful, we had a takeaway and they allowed us cutlery and plates. Then in the morning, the breakfast was organised, no queue, you give your room number in and then you are seated. Good choice of food, bread, breakfast...

"Highly recommend, unique rooms and brilliant staff, in the heart of Chester! Got upgraded to the Secret Garden and it was great! Stayed before in the Safari room which has its own jacuzzi bathtub which was brilliant! This time opted for another room as it safari was booked, but the upgrade was great! Staff very friendly and brilliant! Cannot complain in the slightest! Can’t wait to go again! "
