"From the moment we were picked up at the airport, Carolina our driver and receptionist, was extremely pleasant, courteous, precise and always with a smile and happy to help (restaurant reservations, taxi arrangements, small breakfast for early morning before we left); other employees to recognize are Francisco and Claudia at the breakfast/dinner area as they were very attentive to us.
Our room #11 was spacious, very clean with a beautiful open view of the Atlantic Ocean.Bed was very comfortable...

"The Hotel is in an excellent location within the edge of the Old Town therefore walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, shops and promenade. Very quiet hotel, pleasant laid back atmosphere. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, including a welcome glass of sparkling wine! We only ate breakfast there each day which was very good, buffet style although there were specials you could order also. Great range of hot and cold foods, pastries and fruit.
Overall we would happily recommend...

"Definitely a 5 star experience.
Everything is clean and well maintained. Well trained staff. The room is spacious and the bed and linens are top notch! the breakfast is superb!
The only thing that needs updating is the bath/shower. The pressure is fantastic but the drain can't keep up and the temperature is hard to regulate.
Restaurants: Brisa do Mar, excellent. I would skip Villa Cipriani, food was average."
