"607 Bay Inn is a beautifully renovated inn, exquisitely located in the charming, historically significant Beaufort, SC. The inn’s owner and staff are friendly, outgoing and create a warm and welcoming environment for their guests. The water views and convenience to downtown shops and restaurants could not be any better. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 607 as a memorable part of our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We will definitely return!!"

"Overall this was an average, pretty much no frills hotel.
The rooms were clean. No microwave or closet in the room. You had to request new towels or room cleaning as they only do this every 2 days. However, you were not informed as such until we asked. Breakfast was average. But overall clean. "

"I believe the part of the hotel we stayed in was not part of the newer renovated rooms, the room we had was comfortable and very clean. "Wonderful and welcoming staff! Nice rooms with outstanding bathrooms. Coffee vouchers for the in house coffee shop was a nice touch Would stay again for sure. The only thing we would have liked is chairs outside of our room. There were tables and chairs available that the staff said we were welcome to move in from of our room but we felt uncomfortable moving them from someone else’s room. Also the breakfast place directly across the street was awesome. Highly recommend"

"I was surprised by the state of our room considering we have stayed here before and it was great last time. This time however, there were strands of hair EVERYWHERE. On the floor, in the shower, on some of the towels. Considering we both have extremely low cut hair (buzzed), we knew it wasn’t from us. Other than that, it was okay. The view of the ocean was nice. "The condo itself was clean, but very dated. The building that hosts the condo is very old and unkept.
The add says the condo is on the beach. Realistically it is 1/4 to 1/3 mile walk.
When we first arrived the A/C wasn’t working. We called the host. He responded quickly and resolved the issue. This is a positive.
Overall, a very disappointing stay."
