"Very nice place, very cclean and friendly."

"The staff was extremely helpful. We couldn’t figure out how to open the sofa bed. The front desk person tried; she got the manager; and then they called a woman who’s worked at the hotel the longest and she knew the trick to opening it. This was all at 10pm. The hvac unit did not work by beds in the second room. We stayed multiple nights and only received housekeeping service once. "The people at the front desk were great during check in. The breakfast was run well. The hotel itself was very run down looking as well as the elevator, noisy air conditioner and ice machines. Other than that, the beds were super comfortable and our stay was pleasant."

"Property was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We choose an upstairs room (no elevator) with private bath in hall. We are in our 70s and this was not a problem at all. Outstanding continental breakfast each morning with extras plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks 24/7. Short drive into town. Highly recommend."

Chris, the weekday bartender, was engaging without being too chatty and gave us a personally recommended guide to Portland sites and restaurants that was spot on every time. The scent in the lobby was overpowering. My husband liked it. I found it offensive."

"Our room was right next to the lobby. It was very noisy and there did not seem to be any regard that there may be customers sleeping during all shifts. The room was so close to the hustle and bustle of the front desk there was no getting away from people/staff talking all hours...not much sleep and couldn't change rooms. I would recommend not staying on the first floor near the lobby."
