"I arrived early due to my phone not working and I needed WiFi to message my sister. The host was so kind to let me in and use the WiFi and drop off my bags eventhough the room wasn't redy yet. She was very friendly and they iffered free coffee and breakfast. I felt very welcomed."

"We had a very pleasant one night stay in Douglas at The Claremont Hotel. Booking two rooms. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage at reception prior to check in. We parked our car over the road with free parking. The ocean view room was beautifully clean & tidy. The king bed was super comfy and spacious. "The hotel is a bit tired and the main restaurant was closed for dinner which we were not informed of when checking in. The staff were friendly and the amenities that were open were lovely. The breakfast was top notch."

"Das Frühstück war sehr gut. In unserem Bad ließ sich leider die Heizung nicht abstellen, deshalb mussten wir oft das Fenster öffnen und uns hat im Zimmer ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen gefehlt. Wir haben uns einen zweiten Stuhl bei der Rezeption bestellt und auch bekommen. Wir waren mit dem Hotel und Service zufrieden und werden wiederkommen."

"Good location, very close to the ocean, downtown area, and ferry terminal. The property is an old house, so first impressions of the entrance is a bit shabby, worn carpets, etc. But, the room was comfortable and very clean. All in all, good value for money."

"We had a seaview room that had a great view with a coffee table and two chairs in the window, but in general the room was a bit tired with flaking paint and the like. The shower was good. Sink taps only just reached the bowl. Toilet ok but seat was a bit loose and was dirty. However, after telling reception it was cleaned immediately and properly too. Bath sides clad in ply wood. My wife ahad previously stayed in the atrium rooms which she thought were better, whilst not having that view. ...
