"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! Panoramic view from the top of Ben Arthur, a.k.a. The Cobbler, during my last adventure in Scotland. This is a fairly easy walk (11 miles, 4-6 hours) in the southern Highlands near Loch Lomond. A good warm-up before a failed attempt at Ben Nevis the following day. Pictures to come later.
