Enthusiastic staff eager to renovate and get the hotel back up to scratch but a quirky and charming place, full of authenticity and character. Definitely not a 5* luxury hotel but could not fault the facilities, comfort, and great value for money. Ample parking, green spaces with lovely view, beautiful bed linen & supersoft towels and great shower!"

Great shower, warm towels on heated rail. Breakfast was perfect. The Cedars Guest House is situated in a great central place, we parked our car and didn’t need to drive until leaving for home. We will definitely book again the next time we’re visiting Dunoon. Thank You "

"We are 75. We were offered a room on the 4 th floor. No lift. We were then offered a room - on arrival the door handle fell off. We ended in a room with a cracked window."

"Family rooms could do with a bit of refurb and bathrooms defo need updating. Shower head black mould and water sprayed everywhere, so did not use shower and had to have a quick bath. Staff were really nice"
