"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. "Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. "The location of the property is good. However, the staff doesn't understand anything from customer service. They don't know how to treat you. Another problem is that they always close their entrace gate, and when you ring the door, you have wait for minutes for the door to be opened despite they see you outside."

"Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "
