Top Covenant Hotel Reviews

Comfort Inn Birch Run - Frankenmuth

8/10 Good

"My wife and I stayed here as a less expensive option to Frankenmuth, which was over $200/n. In that respect, great value since Comfort Inn Birch run was about half the price with only about a 10 min drive to Frankenmuth. There was construction going on inside the property (painting, adding midrails to hallways, etc) which detracted from the overall experience, but still very good. Our room was excellent, as was the staff. The amenities could have been better. The pool water and room itself was very cold, the hot tub was good, but there was no staying after you got out. The arcade was a joke, with one pinball machine and three prize grabbers. The breakfast was average, with one exception: one morning they had chorizo in a crock pot and tortillas for making breakfast burritos. A pleasant surprise. Otherwise, nothing to write home about. Overall for hotel was 4 out of 5 stars."

Marv Herzog Hotel

8/10 Good

"Hotel was nice with historical features. Does need some updating but beds were comfortable. Frig, microwave and individual coffee pot in room. Breakfast was good with variety. Scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage gravy and biscuits, fried potatoes, sausage, cereal, yogurt, breads. They also had an evening snack with wine/beer, cheese, crackers, veges and dip, pretzels. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Location is the best."
