"The view from jacuzzi tub and patio was amazing, we had a surprisingly large room with great river view from all rooms. It would have been nice to have more towels and additional amenities such as hand lotion etc. The decor was a bit dated but the overall experience was great"

"Booked for 2 nights, left after the first night. It's definitely rustic... There was black mold in the bathroom, the carpet looked like it has been there since it was built, spider webs on the bed frame. The heater was so loud I had to turn it off before the room warmed up."

"I tried to write this privately, but there was no email or direct phone. 1. Please check this room (504) for bed bugs. I had welts 2 of the 3 mornings that were not there when I went to bed. 2. We had a 4” stain on our white blanket and a small stain on a sheet. 3. There was no lotion. 4. Bedskirt looked like it came from 1970s and had stains 5. For the price, we would have liked daily housekeeping. We had to ask for fresh towels. 6. Coffee was not good Positives were that the front desk staff were helpful and we liked the restaurant. The breakfast was good but overpriced."

"The staff was friendly. The room was okay…the carpet had a lot of stains on it and so did the couch. When we went down for breakfast, there were 4 rotting apples just sitting on the counter in front of everyone which was kind of off putting. If they could put out rotting apples and not even notice, it made us wonder about the other food. We did not do the breakfast for our next morning there. There were also quite a bit of dead bugs in the pool that we were constantly swooshing aside to avoid touching or getting in our hair while swimming."

""The property itself is nice, cozy, clean, and well-equipped. However, as two women traveling together, our main concern was tent security, as it could not be locked from the inside. This kept us from getting a good night's sleep. Additionally, our check-in experience was frustrating. Expedia failed to send instructions, no one answered the phone when we called the lodge to confirm, and there were no road signs guiding us to the property. We were worried it was a scam, but it turned out to be real and we had a good stay overall. Addressing these communication and security issues would greatly improve the experience.""

"Our stay was glamping, a tent like structure with as very nice bed. Other than the idiot who hit his car alarm twice in the middle of the night all went as planned. Community shower was clean and not crowded. It was 20 minutes from the park so a rationale drive!"

"Our room was well laid out, and had all the necessary amenities. No fancy carpeting, but the floors were probably cleaner. There was ample lighting. Our only complaint was that it was hard to plug in a CPAP machine, since the extra outlets were hidden behind the heavy queen-sized beds. There were plenty of outlets in other parts of the room. The shower was very good. Plenty of hot water. The Keurig machine was welcome, and extra pods, tea bags, etc., were available in the office. The staff (of one woman) was exceedingly helpful. She recommended two restaurants and suggested we check them out online--we chose the one right next door, which had excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. All in all, we enjoyed our one-night stay. The location was convenient for sightseeing, too."
