"We tried to check in at midnight after a long day that included a five hour flight after an hour delay. The night clerk was not very helpful. Assigned us a room on the fourth floor but would not give us a map of the property. It was dark and raining hard and we couldn’t find the outdoor elevator😩 We gave up, went back to registration and told him we wanted to cancel and spent the night on our daughter’s couch. "The room refrigerator and bathtub was dirty, the small bathroom window screen was torn, the bathroom light above the only mirror in the room had 2 of the 3 bulbs were out. The sheets and towel were clean but stiff, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. "

"The commode is TOO LOW for adults. especially with a mobility situation, e.g. I use a cane. The commode would be a better height for an elementary school. "

"Since we were on the bottom floor the guests above us were being very disrespectful and disruptive as we were all in bed ready to sleep at 10 pm with little children after a long day being out playing in the snow. I wouldn’t recommend staying on the first floor especially if the walking noise back and forth bother you bc it was loud and bothered us. We called the front desk 2x and the guests above never answered their calls just to show what type of people they are. Eventually they went to bed...

"This wasn't very basic motel level hotel as there not a lot of places to stay in that area. This worked well for overnight road trip. Stay for us.. They had offered a breakfast but it was in a very tiny room serving two buildings and we barely could get a bottle of water. "

"Old. Needs new carpet. Nice to have a refrigerator but it is right by your head going on and off all night. Wood base of bed sticks out so far you stub your toes or hit your shin constantly. I don't know if the other rooms have that base. Would be nice to have a hook in the bathroom or shelf to put clothes on for when you get out of the shower. Would also be nice to have at least one extra hand/face towel already without having to ask for it. Looks like they could have a nice restaurant and...

"We had a lot of fun at Chicken Ranch! The hotel was clean and the view from our odd-numbered room was beautiful. Th casino was new, clean and lots of fun! The windows in the casino make it unique, and there is no smoking! Playing blackjack was fun and lucrative! We can't wait to come back. No free breakfast, but plenty of good coffee shops and restaurants."

"Helpful and friendly staff. Clear instructions for check-in. The room was neat and clean and the bed/bedding was comfortable. The shower was tiny and the hot water didn't last more than about 2 minutes without going cold, then getting hot again. The cafe was convenient and delicious! "

"The grounds are nice, the room is spacious and clean. The lodge is about 20 ish minutes from the West gate entrance (route 120) of Yosemite. If going to Yosemite Valley get an early start to get parking. Once parked plan to take the shuttle around the park. "

"This is a vintage hotel built in the mid 1800's. It is a bed and breakfast in the middle of town. We enjoyed the old feel and obvious age of the property. Located on a main street, we stayed in room 11, one of the original to the building. An extra large room with two queen size beds.(mattresses needed upgrading, but bedding was cute.) The rolling floor keeps you guessing which way to turn in the room. The charming glass windows are still original to the building, we sat in the rocking chairs...
