"Struttura realizzata in un piccolo complesso rurale in uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia (Montone). Dal design rustico e antico, l'agriturismo ha ben due piscine di altezza circa 1,5mt. Molto curato anche il contorno, immerso nella natura, possibilità di cenare al ristorante. Unica osservazione che posso fare é la doccia che aveva problemi di rubinetteria."

"We stayed 2 weeks in Italy and stayed in 5 different properties and this was our favorite. It’s not fancy by any means but safe, quiet, clean and comfortable and the location and experience of staying in a former monastery can’t be beat. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was very good and included. There is limited parking so make sure to reserve that (we traveled with my 80 year old mother so it was essential for us given the hills in Assisi). "

"This property, with a beautiful view in all directions, was exactly what I was looking for. Check in was easy, the room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and charmingly spartan. It was very basic, and I found that perfectly appropriate considering we were so very close to the basilica of St. Francis. All I needed was a restful place to stay at night, so I could be out exploring all that Assisi has to offer during the day. This property provided that, along with a friendly, helpful staff. "Wonderful place to stay. You do have to drop your luggage off —they will send you an e-mail about this —and then park down the mountain in a parking lot. The couple that manage the hotel are fabulous. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast exceptional, and the service was definitely a 10. You definately will want to stay at least 2 nights. They also have a terrace upstairs to watch the sun set. "

"The location was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. My only critiques would be that there was no a/c. A fan would have really helped. I opened my windows a little but there was a pigeon who sat outside my bathroom window at night so I couldn't open it very wide. Also, they should probably spend a little money and update the sheets and comforter which were not soft at all. But given the price, location, and staff, I would consider staying here again. "

"Beautiful hotel! Beautiful people working there. The room and location was amazing. Only complaint the pillows were very hard, all of them!! AC wasn’t quite as cold as we are used to but very nice and comfortable. Area was super close to the Basilica of Saint Francis with an amazing view. Would definitely stay again. "

"Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value."

"What a GEM of a place! The gentlemen at the BnB was kind and works really hard to keep this place in tip top shape. He is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The BnB is very clean and comfortable, everything we expected and more. I wished we had plan a day or two longer in Assisi, we would have been at home here. I hope to return to Assisi in the future and given the amazing stay and great hospitality we were shown, I would choose and recommend Alter Ego again and again! Bravo SIR, you are doing...

"It was an excellent location to visit the Basilica Saint Francis. The parking was free and incredibly close. I have been in Assisi many times and I’ve never found such great parking. The owner was very communicative via WhatsApp and he was very helpful. They held our bags for us for the day and were very accommodating. The location can’t be any more central."
