"This hotel is in an incredible location directly across from the church where St. Francis is entombed. To get to it you have to drive through the pedestrian only cobblestone street so a small car is advised. Also, you need to arrange parking if you are driving to it. We did not arrange parking but the clerk (Jean Luke if I remember correctly) went above and beyond to accommodate our vehicle. "The room was clean. I felt the shower was tight. It was extremely hot in the room despite the “air conditioning “, which seemed to do nothing. We opened the window to try and cool it off, but there was so much traffic noise. Our understanding was that there was no traffic aloud in the historic area, but that was not the case. For the price we paid and the lack of sleep I would not book this place again."
